theory: The Doctor in The God Complex was not...
brokenwanderer: In the beginning, he ate an apple. The Doctor hates apples (as seen in Eleventh Hour). Plus, the Doctor in this episode solves the Rubiks cube (see the still frame here) (photo credit to whomever created that photo), whereas in Night Terrors, he struggles with it, eventually tossing the cube aside, saying “Rubbish. Must be broken. Hate those things.”  Coincidence?
